MANILA, Philippines — A fisherman was injured after a crocodile attacked him while he was fishing in Balabac town, Palawan.
A report from the Balabac police said Janilon Daking Amalong was with his uncle while fishing using a spear gun in Sitio Silom-Silom, Barangay Catagupan on Thursday when the crocodile attacked him at about 1 a.m.
He sustained wounds on his head and left eye following the attack.
Police said the victim was brought to the Balabac Rural Health Unit and will be transferred to Puerto Princesa City for treatment.
